TouringCar/GT – Collection kunoschaer.

By reason of an incidental purchase of an untended, almost forgotten Porsche on the occasion of a visit at Stadler-Motorsport, we drifted off the path of rallye sports to the international race courses where we met new friends with touring cars and the very GT cars. Subsequently, the super touring cars, so-called STW’s and their successors, the DTM/ITC-cars, have taken a shine on us.

The love for Italian race cars and their impressive series of victories in the German touring car championship 1993 – 1996 didn’t leave us cold. As a result, rallye cars like Talbot-Lotus, Opel Manta 400, Mg Metro 6R4 and Lancia Delta 16V (all of them work cars with a glorious history) were used as a financial basis to purchase those rare touring cars.

The friendship with the former team manager of Alfa Romeo, Giorgio Pianta, and with one of his sports favourites, Gianni Giudice, confirmed our decision and made it easier to replace the three rallye cars by three fast race cars.

The star of the TouringCar/GT-Collection is not definitely the last built ITC-Alfa Romeo 155, but on his trail the FIA-GT2 car, Porsche 996 RSR.
